What is Tantric Massage?

Tantric massage is one of those evocative subjects that seems to have different meanings for different people.

The word ‘Tantric’ itself relates to a Hindu practice that goes back many thousands of years which revolves around the concept of sexual energy rather than just the physical pleasure itself.

Tantric massage, however, takes the intimacy and sensuality of a naturist massage several steps further. During the Tantric massage process, the sexual organs of the recipient are caressed or massaged sometimes to complete orgasm, sometimes not, depending on the policy of the massage establishment.

Some establishments advertise that they just caress the genital area and no more as part of the Tantric process. Others state that the idea of the Tantric massage is not to orgasm but if it should happen it would be welcomed..

It’s important to note that the massager is not expected to receive any sexual gratification in return. It is meant to be a selfish exercise where the recipient of the massage concentrates on the sexual energy of the situation and not on the person giving the massage.

So in essence it is a sexual mental energy process which powerfully drives the physical sensations.

Where does Tantra originate?

Tantra means ‘to weave’ in Sanskrit, and is a series of spiritual based practises that draw universal energy into the practitioner, which in turn leads to a form of liberation.
