Nudist lifestyle – can you earn a living and stay naked?

If you have never experienced naturism, you may be forgiven for wondering why some people want to spend their day to day lives completely nude.

But the facts are that most people who have experienced the naturist lifestyle would, given the chance, spend every bit of every day in the buff.

So what’s stopping them?

Possibly location because nudists don’t like to be cold any more than most people, and perhaps money/income because there are seemingly very few paid jobs where people can completely divest themselves of clothing.

To keep your nude body warm, the answer is simple and obvious. Stay indoors or move abroad to sunnier climes; this is the easy choice to make and is largely dependent on your personal circumstances.

Income is a bit different. We haven’t yet got to the stage of society accepting nude behaviour in public, so the days are quite far off to when you can wander into a job interview naked, and expect to be taken seriously.

Can you imagine the scene? No? …but it would be great!

So the only way to be able to work in the nude is probably to work for yourself, so you need to work at a business where clothed people will never get offended by seeing you, or start a business which is in the nudist industry.

Businesses within the nudist industry seem limited but by using your imagination there is more scope than you would think.

Going for the obvious choices first, your local naturist club may be crying out for a bar person, kitchen worker, pool attendant, gardener, accountant or maintenance person. Who cleans their windows or cuts their lawns? Some of these jobs may be part time at first but could lead to bigger and better roles.

If none of this hits the spot, you could offer your services as a naked DJ or Karaoke host, and if you have some musical talent you could tour the naturist club circuit as a performing artist. Do you know how difficult it is for some naturist clubs to find a cabaret or musical act where the performers are nude?

Moving away from the naturist club scenario, has your home got a spare bedroom or more? There are an abundance of people looking to share a naturist home, you’d have to carefully vet all applicants, but you could end up with a nude friend as well as a lodger.

Are you artistic? Building websites or writing blogs will enable you to keep your clothes off all day, and subjects do not need to be about naturism. Writing, painting, sketching are all art forms that are sought after.

If you feel that you have zero talent, why not start out as a life model?

Life models, or nude models require only one skill; the ability to keep absolutely still whilst being naked. It sounds easy doesn’t it? But you try and keep still whilst you have an itchy nose or an overwhelming desire to pee!

You would possibly be surrounded by a group of dedicated painters or sketch artists all attempting to transfer an image of you onto their canvas or sketchpad, whist you pose motionless and think of what you’re going to have for supper that night.

Unfortunately, life modelling doesn’t pay well, but it’s great for supplementing earnings and the hours can be variable.

Posing doesn’t have to stop at Life Modelling, there is a raft of photographers out there who are looking for people willing to pose in the nude, and whilst you probably won’t get paid enough to retire to a country pile, it does pay better than Life modelling. If you are thinking about going down this route, bear in mind that once you have agreed to a photo shoot, you could be positioning yourself according to the photographers wishes, so you need to be clear in your mind how much you want to reveal to the camera bearing in mind that the photo could end up on the internet.

You also need to bear in mind that the photo session will be taking place at a location of the photographer’s choice, so you need to be mindful of your own safety. Perhaps you could take a friend with you for every time there is a different photographer.

Remember, there are some strange people out there!

For the computer minded, apart from websites or blogs there are many ways to start a business online. Amazon the now famous online store, have several business opportunities including book selling and tee-shirt creating, and an affiliate offer, where by promoting Amazon products on your website or Blog, you can receive a percentage of each sale.

As a nudist, you may want promote naturist products and this is no problem, even with Amazon, as they have a large naturist book section. One of the great things about being an affiliate is that a visitor to your website may click to purchase a book or a download, and end up buying other products. You could end up receiving extra commissions as a result.

This is by no means confined to Amazon, there are a plethora of different affiliate offers out there, your job would be to sift through and see what suits you.
